THIS AFTERNOON: It's another mild day, in the upper 60s to upper 70s across the area under a bright, blue sky. While we have to stay away from big gatherings, it's a gorgeous day for a walk, run or other exercise outside. It's going to get much warmer later this week. The wind was stronger early this morning, up around 20mph. It's diminished a bit through this afternoon.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, low near 45. Some fog is possible, mainly over the Rolling Plains.
TOMORROW: Even warmer, high near 85 in Lubbock with plenty of sunshine. Wind W/SW 12-20mph. We'll probably see a few locations in the Rolling Plains make it up around 90.
THURSDAY: High near 90, mostly sunny and breezy.
LOOKING AHEAD: It'll turn very windy on Friday, likely the wind over 30mph, gusting to around 50. While it won't be cold, it will turn a little cooler this weekend. There even are some signs of a little rain by early next week, but nothing promising at this point.
I hope you have a good evening. Bobby will have an update to the forecast posted here early tomorrow.
