City Bank changes lobby access

Posted: Updated:
LUBBOCK, Texas -

News release from City Bank:

Beginning Saturday, March 21, all City Bank locations will modify lobby access due to the evolving COVID-19 situation. Drive-thru locations will remain open during regular business hours while lobby access will be by appointment only until further notice.

“After communicating with other bank presidents and CEOs we felt this was a prudent decision considering the current environment. The health and safety of our customers, employees and communities is our primary concern. We appreciate the support and understanding of our customers as we all do our part to help protect our communities,” Cory T. Newsom, City Bank President and CEO said.

Customers must make an appointment in advance to visit a lobby location. All other bank activity will be directed to drive-thru locations, ATMs, online or mobile devices.

“We would like to remind customers they can decrease their person-to-person interactions by using the City Bank mobile app and digital banking options. They provide 24/7 digital account access with the ability to transfer funds, check account balances and activity, pay bills and much more,” Newsom said.

More information about drive-thru locations, ATMs and business hours can be found at city.bank or by calling the City Bank Customer Xperience Team at 800-687-2265.

“We will continue to monitor the situation and recommendations from the CDC and other state and local authorities. We are dedicated to returning to regular business operations as soon as it is safe to do so,” Newsom said.
