THIS AFTERNOON: It's another mild day with 70s and even a few lower 80s in our area. There's been a steady stream of high clouds overhead. It'll be mild/warm again tomorrow before Friday turns cooler. We're watching an upper-level storm system off the California coast this afternoon. It'll head this way, bringing rain later this week.
TONIGHT: Cloudy early, mostly clear by morning. Low near 54, wind SW 8-14mph.
TOMORROW: Warm again, high near 80. Clouds will increase through the day. Wind NW/SW 10-18mph. There is a slight chance for rain late tomorrow.
FRIDAY: As the upper-level storm system gets closer and a front moves across the area, showers are expected. The chance for rain looks good for much of Friday lingering into Saturday morning. Also, by late Friday afternoon some thunderstorms are possible. It'll be cooler, high in the 50s, breezy N/NE wind 10-20mph.
This should be a pretty widespread soaking, with common rain totals of 1/4" to 1/2" of rain, with a few locations in our area receiving roughly 1" to 2".
LOOKING AHEAD: It'll clear out and warm back to around 70 Saturday. Then we'll be in a pretty prolonged period of southwesterly flow aloft, with a storm system setting up over the western United States. This brings at least the chance for showers and storms each day Sunday through Wednesday. You probably won't get rain each day, but at least a few storms will be possible in the area each day.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
