It was another mild day in Lubbock, high at 76. We have a few more of these days with high temps above the seasonal average in the mid 60s.
TONIGHT: Low near 50, a few more clouds by morning.
TOMORROW: High 76, increasing clouds late. Wind NW/SW 5-15mph. A few isolated showers or storms may develop to the southeast in the afternoon, from Snyder to Abilene. Those will move east.
THURSDAY: Clouds will increase once again, high near 78. A few showers are possible late afternoon into the evening.
FRIDAY: As the upper-level storm system now near the Baja moves this way, lift will increase across the region, promoting shower development. Rain is likely Friday. A few thunderstorms are possible in the area. It's also going to turn cooler, high in the mid 50s.
LOOKING AHEAD: It'll climb back to the 60s this weekend, with a chance for a shower or storm Sunday, then again Monday and Tuesday.
Have a great evening. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
