TODAY: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds through the afternoon, high near 76 with a light southwest wind 10-15mph. A low chance for an isolated shower in our southern county
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with the low near 50.
WEDNESDAY: Highs continue to near 80° for our area with a partly cloudy sky.
RAIN TO END THE WEEK: A slow moving upper level system slowly moving east towards California will bring a good chance for rain starting late Thursday through early Saturday. A quarter to half an inch of rain will be likely in our area. Something we will be monitoring is temperatures as models are in a disagreement at the moment. A chance for mixed precipitation in the northern Panhandle, for us we are holding above the freezing line.
WEEKEND: Rain ending during the morning hours of Saturday, but right behind this system another on will follow and with it another shot of rain Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will be cooler nearing the average for the weekend.
Have a great Tuesday! Matt back tonight for the News at Nine.
