Wind speeds this morning are light but will increase for another windy afternoon.
A secondary cold front moves through our area rushing cold air for tonight. Highs today will be in the 40s and low 50s with a partly sunny sky. There might be a few light flurries in our northern counties during the evening hours pushing from the norther Panhandle.
TONIGHT: Strongest northerly wind will before midnight, then it stays gusty through early morning. Temperatures plummet to the teens and 20s, but wind chills in the single digits and lower double digits. Brrr!
WEDNESDAY: Wind speeds drop through the day, but it stay chilly even with a sunny sky.
EXTENDED: Things quickly become milder with lower 60s to end the week with lots of sunshine. This weekend we continue to climb with a ridge of high pressure moving over head. The wind picks back up through the weekend as another low looks to dig to our west. This might bring some light rain into the start of next week.
Have a great Fat Tuesday! Matt will have the latest updates to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
