Cold start this morning with a partly cloudy sky. It will be cool this afternoon with temperatures a little warmer than yesterday, high nearing 50. The wind will be much calmer 10-15mph from the southwest.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with the low near 35.
WEEKEND: A mild weekend with highs climbing to the 60s even with a mostly cloudy sky Saturday. Upper level low will push across the 4-corners region spreading rain and snow in the southern Rockies. As this pushes a front into our area Sunday, a few isolated showers possible, but not expecting much in totals or coverage. This system will bring a strong westerly wind 20-30mph with gust 45mph or higher.
NEXT WEEK: Another cold front early Tuesday will bring the cooler temperatures through midweek. The wind will stay breezy Monday before increasing again Tuesday with the front. Little to no chance for precipitation with more sunshine to end the week.
Have a great Friday and weekend! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
