It's been a cool and mostly cloudy day. It'll turn colder tonight, possibly with a few light showers. There have been some rain showers over the Permian Basin this afternoon, occasionally making it up to Gail and Snyder. Here is the current temperature and FOX34 VIPIR:
TONIGHT: Cloudy, breezy and cold, low near 29. Some light wintry mix is possible...either as drizzle or light rain, then freezing rain or sleet. Even if it does fall, we don't expect much. It could be enough to create icy patches on bridges, but that's about it. There will probably also be some fog.
TOMORROW: Any showers should be done early, but it'll stay cold and cloudy. High near 38, NE breeze dropping off some in the afternoon.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Still cool Friday, a little warmer this weekend. The next storm system will bring rain to New Mexico, but only a slight chance for rain here. Then it'll turn windy and warmer Sunday.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have the latest update to the forecast here early tomorrow morning and on Good Day Lubbock.
