Colder and breezy start to the day with wind chills in the 20s.
TODAY: A mixture of sunshine with clouds with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. The northeast wind will stay breezy through the first half of the day 12-20mph, then backs to around 10-15mph.
TONIGHT: The clouds may break apart before the sunsets, but will stay partly to mostly cloudy overnight. Colder start in the morning with lows in the 20s and 30s, easterly wind calming to 5-12mph.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY: The chance for light precipitation will increase through Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday. A plume of moisture will push across central Texas and leave us with a small layer of moisture to get light rain, then light mixed precipitation early Thursday. Another cold front then clears out the precipitation before noon hours on Thursday, but leaves us colder with highs in the 30s and low 40s.
EXTENDED: Another upper level system looks to bring a slight chance for more light rain Saturday and early Sunday. Temperatures do warm up to near average for this weekend, so precipitation stays in liquid form. This system also to bring strong wind as it pushes across our region through Monday.
Have a great Tuesday! Matt with the next look at the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
