Trio indicted for meth trafficking

Posted: Updated:

Federal grand jurors indicted three people for trafficking methamphetamine in south Lubbock.

DEA agents used someone undercover to buy meth from Leo Garcia last month, according to prosecutors. He led them to Carey Caye Woodson, whom agents report facilitated the buy at her south Lubbock home.

DEA agents say Jeremy Henry was there at the house and appears to have provided the drugs.

When sheriff's deputies tried to pull Henry over, they say he broke his phone to hide the evidence, then complied. When they arrested him, agents say he confirmed meeting with Garcia, but would not talk any further.

They are all charged with conspiracy to traffic meth, which is punishable by up to life in prison.
