THIS AFTERNOON: It's warmed into the mid 70s around Lubbock, with a few 80s south of the city. Up in the Panhandle it's been colder, in the 40s and 50s. A cold front has moved through Lubbock and colder air will follow. Here is the current temperature:
TONIGHT: Becoming cloudy and breezy, low near 34. Wind NE 10-20mph. Some fog is also possible.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and cooler, high near 49. The NE wind will back off some by the afternoon.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Some light rain is possible Wednesday, then it may mix with some freezing rain or sleet heading into Thursday. The chance for showers isn't great and the amounts will be light. Wednesday's high near 43, Thursday will probably stay in the 30s.
The weekend will be back closer to the seasonal average. The next storm system for the weekend brings a slight chance for rain Saturday, followed by stronger wind Sunday.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
