Last day of mild temperatures for a while with a cold front moving in the area today. The wind will be changing from the west to the northeast in the early afternoon hours from the front. High near 73, with a range of 60s to our north and nearing 80 to our southern counties. Some high clouds moving across the area with lots of sunshine.
TONIGHT: Low near 36, becoming partly cloudy and breezy with the northeast wind 10-20mph.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with the highs in the upper 40s and a few low 50s. Northeast wind keeps 10-20mph making it feel colder.
REST OF THE WEEK: Colder air continues to rush in and temperatures continue to drop to the upper 30s and low 40s. Low temperatures also dropping to the mid 20s. There will be a chance for light precipitation Wednesday and Thursday. Light rain is going to be the most common precipitation type, but late Wednesday/ early Thursday this will likely change over to light wintry mix.
WEEKEND: Unlike the last few weekend where temperatures climbed well above average. This weekend looks to stay cooler and cloudy with another slight chance for rain Saturday.
Have a great Monday! Matt will have the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
