LUBBOCK -

A former teacher's aide faces up to ten years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine for sending nude photos of herself to a student.

Alyssa Bryan pleaded guilty to a federal charge of transferring obscene material to a child. She was a teacher's aide at O.L. Slaton Middle School.

Throughout the spring of 2018, Bryan confessed to sending at least five explicit photos to the victim. She used an app to start a video call with the student while she was completely nude. She also offered to take him somewhere to have sex with him, even offering him money at one point.

Prosecutors say Bryan's pursuit forced the victim to stop going to school.

Along with her sentence, to be set at a later date, Bryan will also have to register as a sex offender.

    Warm again Sunday, but windy

Expect mostly cloudy skies overnight with low temperatures only in the mid 40s, which is a bit above average for this time of year. We're back in the upper 60s again Sunday, even 70s for some areas. With that comes more sunshine by the afternoon, perhaps
