Despite plenty of sun today it's stayed fairly cool, with 40s around Lubbock and 30s farther north. Overall the weather pattern looks pretty quiet around the region next few days.
TONIGHT: Clear next few hours, probably with freezing fog developing early in the morning. Low in the mid 20s. While it's not like actual freezing rain, sometimes freezing fog can leave a small icy patch on bridges. There could even be some freezing drizzle.
TOMORROW: Clearing through the morning, becoming sunny in the afternoon. High near 50, wind S 10-15mph. 1 p.m. first pitch for the Red Raiders' season-opener should be in the mid 40s, climbing to around 50 during the game.
WEEKEND: Warmer both days, high in the mid 60s Saturday, low 70s Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: Monday should still be warm, with the next cold front moving through Monday night. It'll turn cold again starting Tuesday, with a chance for rain and/or snow middle of next week. We'll get more specific on the forecast as we get closer.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
