LUBBOCK, Texas -

From Hamilton Grant WTX

This month, Brennon Brady, associate attorney for Hamilton-Grant PC earned his Board Certification in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Brennon is now one of only seven Board Certified Criminal Lawyers who call Lubbock home, including Partner and Lead Trial Attorney of Hamilton-Grant, Stephen Hamilton. According to the Texas Board of Legal Specialization's website, it has been twelve years since a new attorney achieved Board Certification in Criminal Law in Lubbock.

In order to become Board Certified an attorney must complete a substantial number of criminal law matters involving misdemeanor trials, felony trials, and numerous appeals. In addition to the rigorous trial and appellate work, the board requires ten qualified and vetted references from judges and lawyers in this practice area before even being permitted to sit for the comprehensive 6-hour exam.

Stephen Hamilton expressed his congratulations, "This is a profound accomplishment in Brennon's career and all his colleagues at HG wish him congratulations on this milestone. Additionally, I am excited to offer additional expertise in criminal law to the clients of HG!"

Hamilton-Grant focuses on criminal defense; representing clients throughout West Texas, and across the state.

Hamilton-Grant’s mission is to help good people through tough times.

    Warm again Sunday, but windy

Expect mostly cloudy skies overnight with low temperatures only in the mid 40s, which is a bit above average for this time of year. We're back in the upper 60s again Sunday, even 70s for some areas. With that comes more sunshine by the afternoon, perhaps
