TODAY: Some clouds mixed in with sunshine through this afternoon. Temperatures will still be chilly with the high near 47, light wind shifting from the northeast to the southeast 5-15mph.
TONIGHT: We continue with below freezing temperatures, low near 25. Southeast wind brings in enough moisture to get possible areas of freezing fog. This might leave a light layer of light ice on windshields.
FRIDAY: We start a warming trend but it will still be a little below the average, high near 53.
WEEKEND: Temperatures continue to climb to the 70s on Sunday. The wind will become gusty Sunday afternoon.
NEXT WEEK: Still a lot of details to work out but colder temperatures expected again after a warm Monday. There may be a chance for rain and wintry mix mid to late week, but long range models are complete opposites with these results. This will be something that we will keep our eye on with newer runs of models.
Have a great Thursday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
