It was a magical evening for high school students with special needs Friday.
The "Night to Shine" is an unforgettable prom night experience. Each guest arrived in a limo, walked the red carpet, dealt with the paparazzi and was pampered with the full VIP experience.
"There are some of these people who never get applauded, they never get recognized, they never get to be the center of attention," event coordinator Andy O'Neill said. "Tonight we're treating them as royalty. They get to ride in a limo they get a catered meal, crowned queen and king of the prom, and they get to dance the night away."
The "Night to Shine" is put on each year by the Tim Tebow Foundation and Calvary Baptist Church. FOX34's Kurt Kiser again hosted the event this year.
