Snow ended yesterday then started to melt some. Overnight temperatures dropped well below freezing, so any water left in low-lying areas refroze. Some slick spots likely out there so give some extra time for your commute.
TODAY: Temperatures staying cold, but above freezing by noon. Lots of sunshine with the high near 47. Westerly wind picks up 10-15mph making it feel like upper 30s and lower 40s. Where higher snow amount were to our southeast temperatures will stay colder in the upper 30s.
TONIGHT: Some high clouds moving in the area, temperatures dropping to the 20s.
FRIDAY: Temperatures climb to the 50s with a mostly sunny sky.
WEEKEND: Temperatures don't move much Saturday from a weak front in the area, the climb to the 60s Sunday. We stay dry with more clouds moving in Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: A stronger front drops the temperatures back below average to start next week. Our next system looks to set up to our southwest bringing is another chance for precipitation. For now it looks to stay liquid with rain, but if temperatures continue to drop we could have a mixture in our area.
Have a great Thursday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
