LUBBOCK, Texas -

U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Erin Nealy Cox announced Tuesday a suspected neo-Nazi has pleaded guilty to a gun crime following an investigation by the FBI.

Aiden Bruce-Umbaugh, 23, pleaded guilty to possession of firearms and ammunition by a prohibited person in Lubbock in January.

Video unsealed by the Court Monday shows the defendant, handcuffed and clad in an orange jumpsuit, telling agents, "I assume you're here because of my swastika flag and my firearms."

Umbaugh pleaded guilty to federal drug charges after his arrest in Post in November of last year. He admitted he was high on pot while transporting three assault rifles, a pistol and more than 2,000 rounds of ammunition. He was on his way from Washington to Houston when the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over for a traffic violation.

Bruce-Umbaugh is suspected of being part of the AtomWaffen Division Neo-Nazi hate group. AtomWaffen is German for atomic weapons.

He now faces a sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison. He is slated to be sentenced on Thursday, April 23.
