Below freezing temperatures and areas of dense fog has lead us to a Freezing Fog Advisory until 9a. Make sure to plan extra time for your commute, drive slower than normally, and leave extra space with other vehicles in lower visibility.
We are also getting returns of possible light snow for part of the area. This will continue to stay light moving from southwest to northeast. Not expecting accumulations with this diminishing through the morning. Current radar below:
TODAY: Cloudy and cold through the day with the high nearing 44. East wind turning to the south then west and staying light 5-10mph.
TONIGHT: Staying cloudy with a cold front moving through the area. Models hinting a slim chance for more light precipitation from this front through the early morning hours. Temperatures drop below freezing so possibility of light mixed precipitation.
FRIDAY: Cloud cover diminishes through the afternoon with temperatures warming to the 50s. Northerly wind will be a light breeze 10-18mph from the north.
WEEKEND: Great weekend to be outdoors with highs quickly climb to the 60s and 70s with lots of sunshine. The wind will start to increase with some clouds moving in on Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: Another warm on Monday, then a strong front drops highs to the 40s through mid week. From this system passing across our area will bring a strong wind especially Monday and Tuesday.
Have a great Thursday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
