Freezing fog will be likely through Thursday morning, potentially dense at times. You'll need to allow some extra time in the morning because of the reduced visibility. Some bridges may have icy patches because of the fog. The temperature will drop to the mid to upper 20s.
There is also the potential for some light wintry precipitation, mainly light snow. The chance is a little bit better southwest of Lubbock. But anywhere that snow or wintry precip falls, it'll be light. Here is FOX34 VIPIR:
Keep in mind that even if nothing is showing up on radar above, the freezing fog can cause travel problems. Some light precip is possible through morning. The temperature won't climb much tomorrow, reaching the mid 40s by the afternoon. We'll probably see a little sun in the afternoon.
NEXT FEW DAYS: A few sprinkles are possible early Friday morning as another front moves through. The north wind will be a little gusty Friday, high near 52. Then it's really going to warm up this weekend, all the way to 70 on Super Bowl Sunday.
It'll turn cold again Tuesday.
