Clear sky this morning with frigid temperatures.
TODAY: Sunshine with temperatures a little warmer than yesterday, high near 53. Likely to need a jacket through the afternoon. The wind will stay much lighter 5-12mph changing to the southeast.
TONIGHT: Another cold night with temperatures below freezing, low near 27. Becoming cloudy with a slight chance for some light freezing drizzle or snow starting in the early morning hours. No travel concerns from this activity is expected as of now.
THURSDAY: Light snow then light rain will be possible through the early afternoon hours. Only light amounts expected with the better chance for this to our south and western counties. Most of our area staying dry, just cloudy and cold with the high near 40.
EXTENDED: Temperatures become warm again going into the weekend with more sunshine. Highs climbing to the 60s and 70s until Monday, then another strong cold front drops highs into the middle half of next week. The wind will become an issue becoming stronger through Monday and Tuesday.
