A Baylor University student who recently traveled to China is being tested for a possible case of coronavirus.

FOX4 DFW reports the university announced the possible case Friday. The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District reports the student recently traveled to China.

The student lives in a university dorm. As a precaution, the student has been moved to an isolated room on the Waco campus.

Baylor reports the health risk on-campus is low.

Another potential case of coronavirus is being investigated at Texas A&M. Test results in that case are not expected until Monday.

The CDC has this web page with more information on coronavirus.

Earlier this week the first diagnosis of coronavirus in the United States was reported. A man in Washington state who had recently traveled to central China contracted it.
