A cool day in store for our area with temperatures around 5 degrees warmer than Sunday, high near 53 and mostly sunny.
TONIGHT: Becoming mostly cloudy with the lows in the lower 30s.
TUESDAY: A quick upper level disturbance will bring a chance for rain starting around lunch time from west to east. Amounts will be light from a tenth of an inch to a third, a few locations might make it up to half an inch. This will end again from west to east by early Wednesday morning. Cloudy and cold with the high near 43, some models hint some light snow possible in our northern counties at times.
EXTENDED: Cloud cover will diminish with temperatures returning to the 50s for the rest of the week. There might be some light precipitation to our northeastern counties early Thursday, but amount will be very light. This weekend will be nice with highs returning to the 60s and lots of sunshine.
