We've had a cool, mostly sunny day across the South Plains. A few storm systems passing across the region this week will bring a chance for showers.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, low near 25. Light SW wind.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny, with some more clouds late in the day. High near 52, which is two degrees below the seasonal average. Wind SW 5-12mph.
NEXT RAIN CHANCE: An upper-level storm system now looks like it should bring most of our area at least a little rain. It'll turn colder Tuesday, high near 45. Showers will first be in New Mexico, shifting east. Rain is likely here during Tuesday afternoon. Some computer runs are showing a push of colder air, to make a wintry mix. But at this point it looks like just a cold rain around Lubbock and the South Plains Tuesday.
It'll warm some Wednesday, then we have a small chance for showers Thursday.
NEXT WEEKEND: More sun and slightly warmer.
Have a good rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
