Rain and freezing rain continued overnight and this morning, but clearing our area. Current radar:
With temperatures hovering around freezing, icy spots on roads possible especially on bridges and overpasses. Give extra time for your commute and drive slower than you normally would.
TODAY: Still a chance for some showers mainly for our eastern counties through this morning. This activity will move from southwest to northeast, but continue clearing from west to east through this morning. Cloud cover will also be clear allowing sunshine to spread through the afternoon. Southwest wind becoming breezy 10-20mph, highs climbing to the 50s and low 60s.
TONIGHT: Clear and cold with the low near 29. A front will change wind direction to the northeast in the early morning hours.
WEEKEND: Chilly afternoon temperatures both days with highs in the 40s and 50s. We stay dry with a lot of sunshine Saturday, cloud cover will increase through Sunday afternoon.
NEXT WEEK: Temperatures stay chilly with highs in the 40s and 50s. Mid to late week another chance for precipitation especially Wednesday. Models still differ if we will get precipitation late in the week. It looks to become breezy again with upper level systems crossing north of our area.
