Lubbock's first multi-generational facility opens, caters as learning academy and assisted living

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Tiny Tots U Learning Academy and SouthHaven Assisted Living has officially opened as the first multi-generational center in Lubbock.

The academy takes care of people young and old. The owners say this is a big step in the development of their little customers, but even bigger for the older ones. Residents are happy to be exposed to the interactions with the tiny tots.

"They have the opportunity to interact with each other from time to time and its just a really special thing to see the elderly and the children interact with each other on a day to day basis," Director and co-owner Maegan Messick said.

The center has top of the line security and equipment to keep everyone busy during their stay.
