Kids returning to school today, don't forget the jacket because it's cold out there.
TODAY: It will be a little warmer with highs in the lower 60s area wide. Lots of sunshine again with a breezy southwest wind 12-22mph. With dry air in place a risk for wild fires, keep this in mind if dealing with anything that could spark a fire.
TONIGHT: Another cold and clear night with the low near 29, southwest wind still a light breeze 10-15mph.
WEDNESDAY: No major changes besides high clouds covering the area. Temperatures near the same with wind speeds a little stronger 15-25mph.
EXTENDED: Temperatures stay above average through the rest of the week, but a cold front will bring cold air in Saturday. This system will bring a chance for storms and severe weather across north and central Texas, but we stay dry with more cloud cover Friday. Sunshine through the weekend with temperatures nearing 60 into next week.
Have a great Tuesday. Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
