It was a cloudy drive back to the South Plains yesterday. This continues this morning, but will be clearing out quickly.
TODAY: Sunny, highs in the 50s with a northwest wind 10-18mph.
TONIGHT: A colder start to the morning with that clear sky. Temperatures below freezing nearing 29 in the city.
WEEKEND PLANNER: Sunny and a little warmer with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s both afternoons.
NEXT WEEK: We stay dry with with the next approaching systems wind speeds will become an issue. A breezy afternoon Monday, then mid to late week wind speeds look to increase 20-30mph. No major drop in highs, but coolest day expected Tuesday.
