Stray shower or flurry west of Lubbock, colder from here on out

Posted: Updated:

A stray shower or flurry is possible near the New Mexico state line, otherwise expect a pretty dry night with increasing clouds. It will be colder tonight than it has been for a few days. Cold days continue to start the week off as well with sunshine.

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds, low of 27°, WSW wind 15-20mph.

SUNDAY: Cloudy start, then clearing skies. High of 45°, N wind 15mph.

New Year's Day looks a little cloudy, but it does warm up slightly. Despite that, every night will be at or below freezing into next week.
