Merry Christmas. We've had mild weather today and good travel conditions around the region. Things will get a little more active next few days, thanks to a storm system now over the southwestern United States/northwestern Mexico.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, low near 34. Wind W 5-10mph.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy, high near 58. Wind W/S 5-10mph. Slight chance for rain at night.
BETTER RAIN CHANCE: As the upper-level storm system approaches, lift will increase Friday. This means a better chance for rain. There may even be some thunderstorms late in the day Friday. It'll be a breezy day, high near 57.
The rain should end by early Saturday. Then cooler and drier air will build in. Saturday will be windy, high near 53.
LOOKING AHEAD: Colder weather is in store next week. It'll be sunny and cool to start the week. The next storm system may bring some showers middle of the week, though it's too far away for anything certain. It'll probably stay cold through late next week.
I hope you have a great rest of Christmas. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
