Suspected neo-Nazi stopped in Post pleads to drug charges

LUBBOCK -

A suspected neo-Nazi has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges after his arrest in early November.

Aiden Bruce-Umbaugh confessed he was high on pot while transporting three assault rifles, a pistol and more than 2,000 rounds of ammunition. He was on his way from Washington to Houston when the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over for a traffic violation.

Bruce-Umbaugh is suspected of being part of the "Atom Waffen" Neo-Nazi hate group. Atom Waffen is German for atomic weapons.

Bruce-Umbaugh faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years supervised release.
