THIS AFTERNOON: It's been a sunny day with the temperature running close to the average for this time of year, low to mid 50s area-wide. And it's pretty quiet all around the region.
TONIGHT: Clear and cold, low near 22. Wind SW 5-12mph.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny, high 52. It'll be breezy through the day, wind out of the SW/S 10-20mph.
NEXT FEW DAYS: More sunny days are expected Friday and through the weekend, trending slightly warmer.
We do see some changes for next week. At this point it looks like an approaching upper-level storm system will make it breezy to windy Christmas Eve and Christmas. The afternoons should stay fairly mild, in the upper 50s to lower 60s. It is possible this storm system will generate some rain showers. But this far out the rain chance isn't great.
We're seeing greater differences in the various computer models, and from run to run of each model, late next week. This means the confidence in the forecast is lower. Some runs are showing showers with colder weather late week, while others are showing just cooler and dry weather. We're waiting for some consistency before having any decent idea on late next week/next weekend.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have the next forecast update posted here early tomorrow.
