COLD START: It dropped to 20 in Lubbock this morning, teens west and north of the city. Since then, despite plentiful sunshine, it's stayed cool, reaching the mid 40s. Pretty quiet weather will continue next few days, with a slight warming trend.
TONIGHT: Clear and cold, low near 21. Wind W 5-10mph.
TOMORROW: Sunny, high 53. Wind W/S 5-15mph.
NEXT FEW DAYS: A weak disturbance will bring a few more high clouds Thursday. The weekend will turn warmer, with 60s both days. We'll likely see more 60s first part of next week.
Longer-range guidance show the high near 60 for the first half of next week, including Christmas. And there are some signs of showers by late next week. But we're too far out for anything reliable. We're just trying to pick up on patterns. Now if you want a White Christmas, it is looking favorable for Colorado and parts of New Mexico.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have an update posted here early tomorrow.
