UPDATE: Lockout lifted at Four Frenship campuses - FOX34 Lubbock

UPDATE: Carjacking prompts "lock out" Monday morning at Frenship

Posted: Updated:

Four Frenship ISD school were put on "lock out" Monday morning, Dec. 16, 2019, while Lubbock Police looked for a carjacker in the area.

It only lasted an hour. Classes went on as scheduled and no schools were in any danger.

"Lock out" is when class goes on like normal inside the building and the district secures all entrances to prevent anyone from getting into or out of a campus without clearance.

This is different from a "lock down", where students take shelter in their classrooms until first responders open the door.
