Cold front continues it track through Texas leaving a range in temperatures this morning.
This front will push east into areas of high gulf moisture and conditions are perfect for severe storms through this afternoon. Risk for tornadoes and damaging wind gusts expected for Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
TODAY: The cloudy sky this morning will diminish through the day. Temperatures will move a little bit, but staying chilly with the high near 42. North-northwest wind will pick up for a light breeze 10-18mph.
TONIGHT: With the blanket of clouds removed temperatures will plummet with lows in the teens and 20s. Wind chills in the lower double digits and singles with the northwest wind 5-12mph.
TUESDAY: Sunny, but chilly with the high nearing 45.
EXTENDED: Quiet weather with lots of sunshine through the rest of the week and weekend. Temperatures gradually climb but stay near the average through Thursday. This weekend temperatures return to the 60s with lows a little above freezing.
