TTU Board of Regents approves constructional phase of Veterinary School of Medicine
LUBBOCK, Texas -
Yesterday Texas Tech's Veterinary Curriculum was approved and can now start graduating large animal doctors.
Thursday the Board of Regents took it one step further and approved the construction phase. Dean of the Vet School Guy Loneragan said this approval means the university's plan is still on track and will continue to move forward.
"So this is really exciting to see that dirt start to move in Amarillo and the foundation of our facility start to be put in place," he said. "Soon we'll see that building coming out of the ground and we'll have state of the art, world-class facilities to support our program."
The school's expected to open in the fall of 2021.
