Cold front yesterday is leaving us with temperatures 20 degrees colder than this time yesterday.
DOWN STATE: Showers with a few embedded thunderstorms across the rest of Texas. This will clear from north to south through today.
TODAY: Grab the jacket before heading out because it will stay chilly. High near 49, clouds breaking up and becoming mostly sunny by late afternoon. Light northeast wind changing to the south 5-12mph.
TONIGHT: Clear and cold again with the low near 29.
WEDNESDAY: High clouds move into the area for a mostly sunny sky. A few degrees warmer with the high near 54, southerly wind a light breeze 10-20mph.
EXTENDED: Pretty quiet rest of the week with temperatures warm to the 60s for Friday and Saturday. Our next cold front moves into the area to start next week dropping highs back to the 40s. Models differ a little with this next system on possible light precipitation. Something we will keep an eye on, but doesn't look promising.
Have a great Tuesday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
