Cold front moved through last night bringing colder temperatures this morning.
TODAY: You will need a jacket with the high near 56, some high clouds moving in from the west making it a mostly sunny sky. The wind will stay light 5-12mph changing to the east-southeast by this evening.
TONIGHT: Temperatures will be cold for First Friday Art Trail in Lubbock so you will need to bundle up. Low near 32, mostly clear sky.
WEEKEND: Temperatures will warm through the weekend. 50s and low 60s Saturday, then upper 60s and 70s Sunday. Cloud cover will increase Sunday for a partly sunny sky and the wind will increase 15-30mph for another windy day.
NEXT WEEK: A cold front will move through the area later Monday dropping highs to the upper 40s and low 50s Tuesday. Some light rain will be possible south of our area, but looks dry for the rest of us.
