Black Friday deals and dont's
There will be some great markdowns on TVs this weekend, but buyer beware. Oftentimes when it comes the truly rock bottom-priced doorbuster deals, TV sets are generally either older models, off brand or sometimes lack features that you want. If you're looking for the latest in technology for your cell phone, stay away from the iphone eleven. The phone doesn't have the 5G capability that cell phones will run on in the next year or two. Gaming bundles are also not the best idea this year because we're expecting Playstation 5 next year and a new XBox. Groupon is a great place for deals of all kinds.
President Trump travels to Afghanistan for Taliban talks
President Trump is returning to the U.S. after an unannounced trip to Afghanistan. He took off after midnight after a brief meeting with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and the troops. Trump said the U.S. and Taliban have been engaged in ongoing peace talks and he thinks there's a chance to negotiate.

Evacuation orders still in place for Port Neches
More than 50,000 people in East Texas remain under a mandatory evacuation order after two massive explosions. The first from the chemical plant in Port Neches is still burning more than a day later. Eight people who were injured in the blast were treated and released. Firefighters have made progress and said now the blaze is controlled, but they're not out of the woods just yet.
2020 Election cybersecurity at risk
With less than a year to go until the 2020 election, there are growing concerns about cyber-attacks on our voting system. Election security has been a political football ever since the 2016 race, when Russia tried to influence the outcome by hacking campaign emails, spreading disinformation and trying to change actual votes. Hackers have already started trying to interfere in 2020. Microsoft's Digital Crimes Unit is monitoring corrupt bot nets around the world.
