SHALLOWATER, Texas -

A suspect is in custody after leading Lubbock County Sheriff's and DPS Troopers on a short chase Monday afternoon near Shallowater.

Deputies attempted to serve a warrant near Clovis Rd. and CR 1630. Codie Seale, 33, reportedly left in his car running over the foot of one deputy and striking the other with an open door.

The pursuit continued east on FM 2641. Seale got out of the car and ran behind a home near North Quaker Ave. and CR 6200, where he was taken into custody.

Both deputies were taken to UMC with minor injuries.

Seale was wanted on a warrant out of Ector County for failing to appear in court. He faces multiple charges with the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office.
