Record breaking temperatures this morning across the area. We broke the record of 19° at 4am with plenty of cooling left this morning. Good news is we have dry air and a mostly clear sky, so no slick spots on the roadways.
TODAY: Sunshine returning but staying cold with the high near 44. Northerly wind becomes southwest and staying much lighter than yesterday 5-15mph.
TONIGHT: Another cold one but not near the record, low near 28. Some high clouds move in from the south for a mostly clear sky. Southerly wind will be light 10-15mph with wind chills in the teens and low 20s.
WEDNESDAY: A quick warm up with highs in the 60s with lots of sunshine. The wind will become a light breeze 10-20mph, changing to the north late in the day.
EXTENDED: This change in the wind will be another front moving through the area. This one will be much weaker with temperatures dropping around 10 degrees. Another weak front moves through the weekend and again dropping temperatures around 10 degrees. Lots of sunshine in place through the rest of the week, some clouds move in this weekend.
