Three killed in Nolan County crash

On November 10, 2019 around 6:49 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.

According to police reports, Bryan Isaac Pesina, 20, was driving South on SH-153 when he attempted to pass a truck tractor with a semi-trailer in a no passing zone.

That is when he collided with Joan Palacios, 43 and her two passengers Juan Palacios, 47, and Katerina Pesina, 22. 

Katerina Pesina was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with critical injuries.

Bryan Pesina, and Joan and Juan Palacios were all pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
