LUBBOCK, Texas -

Investigators are offering $1,000 to a tipster who can identify a man accused of robbing the EZ Mart at 74th and Quaker at gunpoint early Friday morning.

About 2:15 a.m., the suspect went in and asked for a "tobacco product," making the clerk turn his back to the man to retrieve it. When the clerk turned back around, the suspect had a pistol out; he demanded money from the register. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is a black man in his late teens or early 20s, about 5'9" and 185 pounds.

If you know him or where he is, call Crime Line, 741-1000. You will remain anonymous and could be eligible for the reward.
