Look Around Lubbock: 'Take in the Local Color' Artist Studio Tour

Lubbock Magazine is presenting the 23rd Annual 'Take in the Local Color' Artist Studio Tour on November 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and November 10 from noon to 5 p.m. Forty artists and nine studios will be participating in the event. Studio Tour gives the community the opportunity to observe artists in their working environments. There will be approximately five artists showcased at each studio location. Artists will be displaying original work in the media of painting, drawing, pottery, fiber, jewelry, leather, glass, wood, photography and sculpture. There will also be demonstrations and performances by local musicians at some locations. The Local Color Studio Tour is free and open to the public.

Melinda Green Harvey Studio, 3520 92nd Street

Carol C. Howell Studio, 3224 22nd Street

Robert Rogers Studio, 3308 20th Street

Ami Hill Home, 3201 25th Street

Janet & Gary Schwantz Home, 3015 21st Street

Dede & Paul Rider Home, 3017 19th Street
