Man indicted for deadly February crash at 13th & Slide

LUBBOCK, Texas -

A man has been indicted accused of killing a woman in a crash near 13th and Slide back in February. 

Police report Anthony Puente, 21 , was driving drunk when he slammed into the victim's car at the intersection. 19-year-old Sarah Dearmond was taken to the hospital where she later died. A second victim suffered serious injuries. 

If convicted, Puente could face two to 20 years in prison. He's also charged with intoxication assault and possession of marijuana.
