One injured in Sunday shooting, police searching for suspects

One person was hospitalized after a shooting Sunday afternoon in central Lubbock.

Police responded to a shots fired call near 52nd and Quaker just before 2:30 p.m. Police report Clayton Jackson, 37, was shot in the leg and had walked to a nearby fire station for help. 

Jackson was taken to Covenant Health and released a short time later. 

Police are searching for three black males who left the scene in a brown Ford Crown Victoria with a white bumper. No arrests have been made.
