Two killed, one injured in crash on E Loop access road

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Two people died in a crash at East 50th Street and the East Loop access road early Saturday morning.

According to its initial investigation, the Lubbock Police Department reports a Dodge pick-up was eastbound on 50th Street and a Chevy pick-up was northbound on the access road. The two crashed in the intersection.

Two people died in the northbound pick-up, driver Isaac Sepulveda, 30, and passenger Esperanza Salinas, 24. Both were from Lubbock.

Police tell us the driver of the eastbound pick-up is being treated for serious injuries at the hospital.
