THIS AFTERNOON: After a chilly start, it's rebounded into the 60s for much of our area, with 50s north, over the Panhandle. That's a result of a cold front moving across the area, kicking up the north wind. It's sunny across much of the south central United States. And the quiet, sunny weather will continue next few days.
TONIGHT: Clear and cold. North wind gusty this evening will back off by late tonight. Low near 27.
SATURDAY: Cooler behind today's front, high near 53. Wind S 5-12mph. Daylight saving time ends Saturday night, we gain an hour by falling back.
LOOKING AHEAD: Sunday will bounce back to the upper 60s with a SW wind. Monday will be a little warmer, in the lower 70s.
Longer-range guidance is showing humidity increasing and some lift moving across our region for some showers and thunderstorms Wednesday into Thursday. It's not a great chance at this point, but looks like it'll be the next time we could get some rain. Next weekend may turn cooler again.
Have a great weekend. Robert will have the updated forecast here Saturday afternoon.
