LUBBOCK, Texas -

Lubbock's Habitat for Humanity held a fall festival at its ReStore Wednesday.

There were activities for the kids, including coloring and crafts. There was also shopping available at the Restore, which is Habitat's home improvement retailer. You can shop for things like furniture, building materials and appliances, while giving back.

"It's all about giving back to the community, we're doing something for people right here in Lubbock," ReStore director Michael Fortner said. "It gives you a chance to, you know...there's not that many opportunities you have to shop and give back to the community at the same times."

Lubbock Habitat will host a workshop for prospective Habitat homeowners Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon.
